Leonard Nelson, CFP®

 

Leonard Nelson is the founder of Trafalgar Capital Management, an Investment Advisory Firm.

 

Leonard graduated from the University of Idaho in 1982, cum laude, with a double degree in finance and business management. He earned the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation. Leonard regularly attends continuing education seminars dealing with investment and retirement planning, estate and trust planning and education savings programs in order to offer the most current information and solutions to you.

 

Leonard started Trafalgar Capital Management so that he could provide independent advice and focus solely on his client’s needs by doing it the way that makes sense for each individual’s personal future goals. 

 

He brings a seasoned background after spending 10 years beginning in 1984 with Fidelity Investments. Has also worked at Bank of America and spent 6 years at Charles Schwab & Co.

 

Leonard is married and happily lives with wife Cheryl and three kids, Jacob, Elizabeth and Spencer in Northeast Portland.
